Admitted Students for Fall 2014 Congratulations -- you’ve been accepted to Hamline! Here’s where you’ll find everything you need to know about being a Piper, from upcoming events to registering for classes to residential life. The Essentials Submit your Deposit to confirm your enrollment at Hamline. The $400 deposit may be mailed or paid online. You may submit your deposit online through Piperline, using the ID and PIN that has been sent to you. Piper Preview is the first of two required orientation programs for first-year students. After students make their deposit to Hamline they will receive an email that they are able to register by clicking any of the available dates below. You may attend any one of the following Piper Preview sessions: Piper Preview I: Wednesday June 11th-Thursday June 12th (THIS PREVIEW IS FULL)Piper Preview II: Friday June 20th-Saturday June 21st (THIS PREVIEW IS FULL)Piper Preview III: Monday June 30th-Tuesday July 1st (THIS PREVIEW IS FULL) Piper Preview IV: Wednesday July 16th-Thursday July 17th (THIS PREVIEW IS FULL) Piper Preview V: Monday July 21st-Tuesday July 22nd (THIS PREVIEW IS FULL) Piper Preview VI: Wednesday July 30th-Thursday July 31st Parents and Guardians are highly encouraged to attend the Parent Preview that takes places in conjunction with the students program. The Parent program is a great way to gain more information on resources for you and your students, meet other parents, and connect with the Hamline Community! This program is from 10am-5pm on Day 1 and begins again on Day 2 at 9:30am. As soon as students have finished registering for their classes on day 2 they are free to check out of their room for the night, get their ID picture and meet up with their parents. For full details on how to register or if you have questions, contact the Admission Office. Piper Passages is the second required orientation program for all new students at Hamline. Piper Passages will take place on campus Sunday, August 31st through Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014. Come meet current student leaders, develop new friendships, learn your way around campus, meet with a faculty advisor, and get your questions answered. Immunizations: Incoming students must submit immunization records through Piperline. Please note that required immunizations include: measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), tetanus and diphtheria. A tetanus and diphtheria vaccination must be current within the last ten years. If immunization requirements are not met a registration hold will be placed on the student's account Housing information is sent to all admitted students. Once you submit your housing deposit, you will receive instructions on using the online housing application and roommate finder. Technology for learning at Hamline includes Piperline, Blackboard, your Hamline email account, and more.
